Diamond grinding, never acid etch
Every floor is mechanically ground to open the concrete so the coating bonds into the slab — the single biggest difference between our floors and a peeling kit job.
Garage Floors
The garage slab takes more abuse than any floor in the house — hot tires, road salt, oil, dropped tools. We grind the concrete to bare, honest surface, repair the cracks, and build a flake or solid-color epoxy system that shrugs all of it off. Most two- and three-car garages are ground, coated and sealed in a single day on site.
What You Get
Every floor is mechanically ground to open the concrete so the coating bonds into the slab — the single biggest difference between our floors and a peeling kit job.
Control joints honoured, random cracks routed and filled, spalls patched — the repairs disappear under the broadcast instead of telegraphing through.
Flake hides dust and tire marks and adds grip; solid color reads clean and industrial. Both get a chemical-resistant topcoat.
The cured system does not soften under a July tire or pit under winter mag chloride — the two ways Idaho garage floors normally die.
Why It Matters
Winter road treatment rides in on the car and sits on the slab. Bare or painted concrete absorbs it and pits; a sealed epoxy floor gives it nowhere to go.
A closed garage in a valley summer runs well past 90°F at the slab, which is when paint-on coatings let go under hot tires. A ground-in epoxy bond does not.
Oil, brake fluid and fertilizer stains wipe off a coated floor with a rag. On bare concrete they are permanent within the hour.
Wondering what it costs? We quote in person, not on a web page — the cost guide explains exactly what sets the number before anyone stands in your garage.

Questions
Every floor is quoted from a free in-person walkthrough — square footage, slab condition, moisture and the system you pick set the number, and the written quote is itemized, exact and free. Our cost guide covers exactly what moves a quote up or down before anyone stands in your garage.
Almost always. Cracks are routed, filled and ground flush before coating; control joints are honoured so the slab can still move. What we will not do is coat over a structural problem without telling you — if a crack points at a settling issue, you hear it at the walkthrough.
Foot traffic at 48 hours, vehicles at 72. The install itself is usually one day; the wait after that is cure time, not work time.
