Epoxy flooring in Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls is a scheduled trip for us rather than a next-week appointment — it is about 290 miles from the shop in Caldwell. We quote it with the drive built in, confirm scope and colour before we roll, and finish in one visit instead of stretching a floor over weeks.

Local Conditions

Eastern Idaho is harder on concrete than the valley

Idaho Falls sits higher and colder than the Treasure Valley, so freeze-thaw cycling is the main enemy. Water works into unsealed concrete, freezes, expands and lifts the surface a layer at a time. A seamless coating keeps the water out, which is the only actual fix.

Long winters mean months of road chemical tracked in and left to sit on a damp slab. That combination pits bare concrete and causes the dusting and efflorescence people mistake for a dirty floor.

Cold also shortens the working season sharply. These systems need the slab held between 50°F and 90°F through cure, so unheated garages and shops out here have a genuinely narrow window — heated buildings we can do year round.

Scheduling around the weather

These coatings need the slab to hold between 50°F and 90°F while they cure. In Idaho Falls that means heated interior work runs year round, while unheated garages, shops and exterior concrete have a real season. Booking ahead is the difference between getting the floor you want and waiting for spring. See the full system specification.

What We Install

Coatings we install in Idaho Falls.

Garage Floors

Flake and solid-color epoxy that turns a stained garage slab into a clean, hot-tire-resistant floor.

Polyaspartic Coatings

Fast-curing, UV-stable polyaspartic — walkable in a day, tougher than standard epoxy.

Commercial & Shop Floors

High-traffic epoxy for shops, warehouses, and showrooms that stands up to equipment and chemicals.

Patios & Exterior Concrete

UV-stable flake systems for patios, walkways, and pool decks — textured for grip and sealed against freeze-thaw.

Questions

Idaho Falls questions we get asked.

Is it worth bringing you over from Caldwell?

For one small garage, sometimes not, and we will tell you that rather than sell you a drive. For a shop, a commercial floor, several bays, or a few neighbours going in together, it usually works out fine.

How far ahead do I need to book?

Further than a valley job, because eastern Idaho goes on the calendar as a trip. Get in touch early, especially if the building is unheated and you need it done inside the warm season.

Can you coat my garage in the winter here?

Only if the building can be held above 50°F through cure and for a few days after. Otherwise it waits for spring — forcing a cure in the cold produces a floor that fails, and we would rather reschedule than hand that over.
